Dharma Danda Trekking Route Development Project
Proposal-2010
Introduction-
Draped along the greatest heights of the Himalaya, Nepal is where the ice-cold of the mountains meets the steamy heat of the Indian plains. It's a land of yaks and yetis, stupas and Sherpas and some of the best trekking on earth. The Himalaya's most sophisticated urban cultures took shape here. Nepal is also the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism and symbol of wisdom and peace.

Nepal is a country with extreme diversity. It spreads over the Himalayas in the North to the lowland of Terai in South. The lofty mountains, pristine rivers, quaint villages, dense forests and the colorful festivals of various ethnic cultures together with rare flora and fauna makes Nepal “A country with bio and cultural diversity”.

Government of Nepal has declared 2011 as tourism year with slogan “once is not enough”. We agree, definitely once is not enough? There are many places in Nepal that are still relatively unexplored.
Government of Nepal has aimed of attracting 1 million tourists in the year 2011 and 2 million in the year 2020, which is very ambitious plan.  We are established to assist the government to meet this target as tourism is directly related with income, life style and overall development of the country and its citizens.

Dharma danda trekking route is very new trekking route which is developed with extensive research and is possible only with serious involvement of various persons belonging to trekking sector. It aims at attracting tourists who has already visited Nepal.
